Not too many people know the fact that the pantheon of the Maya is a vast collection of gods who were worshipped throughout the region. Believe it or not, there have been 250 Mayan gods. It is interesting to know the fact that not all of the gods were venerated in all of the city-states of the Maya. Here are some gods they used to worship: Acan, Acat, Ah-Bolom-Tzacab, Ah-Cancum, Ah-Chun-Caan, Ah-Chuy-Kat, Ah-Ciliz, Ah-Cun-Can, Ajtzak, Bacabs, The B’alams, Bitol, Bolon-D’zacab, Camazotz, Camaxtli, Chirakan-Ixmucane, etc.
