How many jurors  are there in the  federal court?

12

It is widely known that a jury is a sworn body of people convened to render an impartial verdict (a finding of fact on a question) officially submitted to them by a court, or to set a penalty or judgment.  It is important to know that a jury must begin with at least 6 and no more than 12 members, and each juror must participate in the verdict.  In federal cases, there are most of the cases twelve jurors and from one to six alternate jurors.   The alternate jurors have an important role.  Keep in mind that the alternate jurors replace jurors who become ill, disqualified, or who are unable to perform their duties.
