Not too many people know that the first Dunkin’ Donuts store was opened in 1950 in Quincy.  It is widely known the fact that Dunkin’ Donuts is the world’s leading baked goods and coffee chain, serving more than 5 million customers per day.  It is interesting to know that at the end of 2012, there were 10,500 Dunkin’ Donuts stores worldwide.  These include more than 7,000 franchised restaurants in 36 United States and more than 3,000 international shops in 30 countries.
