The studies provided by the U.S Energy Information Administration show the fact that in the US there are 11 million alternative fuel vehicles.   It is important to know that cars in the U.S. are more fuel-efficient than ever.  What does this signify?  Well, fuel-economy for new cars and trucks has recently hit a record high, after decades of stagnation.  Moreover, trends show that smaller cars are now making a comeback after years of increasing light-truck and SUV dominance.  Needless to say, it is important to know that cars are no longer getting heavier.
