What is UKI?
UKI is a JavaScript based user interface toolkit that helps users create various web applications that look like a typical desktop. This particular JavaScript toolkit is said to be very simple and user-friendly allowing for a very quick applications creation.

Through a process called progressive rendering, the use of UKI allows a very quick rendering of lists and tables even if entries are more than 30,000. Normally, it would take several minutes to process this amount of data using typical browsers like Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. Although UKI does not contain the whole JavaScript package and functionality, layouting is its best feature and this can be integrated with any JavaScript or JS framework.

Users also like the simplicity of the UKI toolkit, so one does not need to acquire new information and knowledge in programming and/or scripting just to add new libraries on a particular application. Using UKI is as basic as creating the tags of HTML. There is no need for builder installation and no CSS encoding is necessary. One doesn’t even have to worry about dependency management.

Another great UKI feature is its ability to work effectively between different browsers and platforms. So even if a particular user has Internet Explorer installed while the other has Google Chrome, UKI works just fine and looks the same all across different browsers. Having other web browsers like Opera, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari shouldn’t be a problem with UKI.

And best of all, UKI is free and open source. This means that the source codes for this JavaScript toolkit is made available to anybody who may want to use and/or improve on the code as they see it fit. These enhancements and modifications are encouraged to further improve on the existing product or version and to allow for openness in terms of inputs and ideas regarding what the best features of UKI are and possible improvements to some of UKIs weak points.
