GBP files are files that have the .gbp extension and they are files created by the GBurner project. GBP stands for GBurner Project and this particular file may only be opened through the GBurner program. Under the program’s menu, users may be able to open GBP files that may contain various data including images, audio, video, and many other things.

GBurner is one of the most recent and popular disk burning programs available in the market today and is able to burn data on CDs, DVDs, and BDs or Blu-Ray Discs. GBurner is compatible with the Windows operating system from the older versions of Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 up to the latest versions like Windows 7 and 8. One great thing about GBurner is that it does use up a lot of the computer’s RAM when doing the disk burning process to create GBP files. Only 64 megabytes of RAM and at least 128 megabytes of disk space is required in order for the program to run smoothly and efficiently.

As with many other disk-burning programs, GBurner software allows users to create various disks types including the standard CD-R, CDR-W, DVD-R, DVDR-W, and BD-R among many other types. The files created during the burning of data in to the disks are GBP files and they may contain basic text, images of different resolutions, audio files, and video files created by various programs. Another cool feature of GBurner is that it makes file management easy by means of converting a disk to a bootable USB drive. With this feature, one can easily transfer or copy files from the disk to another computer or laptop for example. With the GBP files, projects done may also be opened by means of extracting them to a specified location in one’s computer. Getting the files out of a GBP file or project may also be done through the drag and drop technique making file transfers very quick and smooth.
