How many women are there in the US?
150 million in 2012
On July 1, 2013, the United States had a total resident population of 316 million, making it the third most populous country in the world. Imagine that there were 157 million women in 2012 and 153 million males. 72.6 million of females 16 and older participate in the labor force. Not too many people know that California and Texas represent the most populous states. Needless to say, New York City represents the most populous city in the United States.
