How many moons are there on Saturn?
62.
Saturn has 62 known satellites; the largest of them is Titan, with a diameter of 5,150 km. Titan is the second largest moon of the solar system, preceded only by Ganymede (one of Jupiter’s moons). Until 1997, it was thought that the planet had only 18 moons – then, with the help of telescopes and data from the Cassini’s Saturn flyby, new moons were discovered (source: “Probing the New Solar System”, by John Wilkinson).
