How many managing directors are there at Goldman Sachs?

There are 280 new managing directors at Goldman Sachs.   It is interesting to know the fact that a fifth of these are women.  Where are these directors from?  Well, 56% of the managing directors who work at Goldman Sachs are based in the Americas.  Needless to say, more than quarter, meaning 27% are based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.  It is interesting to know the fact that   Goldman Sachs doesn’t promote its employees to the position of managing director very often.
