How many lions are there in a pride?

4-20 females and 1-2 males

Not too many people know what a pride of lions represents.  Well, a pride of lions is a family structure.  It is interesting to know the fact that it consists typically of 4-20 females with their cubs, and two or three males.  Needless to say, the number of males in a pride can vary from one maximum seven.  Anyway, the main idea is that 2 males in the pride is the best situation for long-term survival.   Keep in mind the fact that the male who wants to take over a pride will challenge the male in control.
