How many Iraqi civilians have been killed?
The Iraq Body Count project (IBC), which started in January 2003, maintains a database of civilian deaths from violence in Iraq. Since 2003, 104,706 casualties have been documented. The most violent cities are Baghdad and Mosul, and the casualty numbers reached their peak in March/April ‘Ëœ03 and in January ‘â„¢06/July ‘â„¢07.
