How many Government employees are there in Kansas?


The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that, in March 2010, there were 262,200 government employees in Kansas, which equals 17% of Kansas’â„¢ civilian labor force. Government employees are the largest group in the state, followed by the Trade, Transportation and Utilities industry, with 254,100 employees, and the Education and Health Services industry, with 180,200 employees.
