It is widely known the fact that there are 27 bones in a human hand.  Needless to say, there are 8 bones that make up the wrist.  Keep in mind that there are 3 bones in each of the 4 fingers, 2 bones in each thumb, and another bone under each finger and thumb that runs through the palm to the wrist.  The main idea is that there are a lot of bones in a pretty small space.  This is definitely something.
