The ZZ Top is one of the bands that have stood the test of time amazingly. Even though the Beetles example is a bad enough example in case of the dissolution of a band that has as achieved extraordinary fame, ZZ Top still stands experimenting with music and bringing out what is the best in them exceptionally well. The band consists of only three members, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. • Frank despite his last name is ironically the only one in the band without a beard.

• Billy is regarded as one of the finest Blues guitarist. In his early days of playing iconic figure Jimmy Hendrix had praised him particularly.

• Dusty, Frank and Billy had kept their Blues roots intact and remoulded themselves in the latest tech savvy age by appearing in music videos singing together almost resembling the Greek chorus.MTV undoubtedly became the channel to do the innovative casting

• Their signature style of beard, girls, key chains and cars seemed to have transcended all divisions based on boundaries and achieved popularity all over the world. Not only making a position for them but also becoming icons for other rock bands to follow and adopt the signatures of.

• With every new song that they sing they seemed to have found new grounds of exploration and are constantly experimenting with them.

• Their popularity when reached its culmination had led to a ‘˜World Wide Texas tour’ on which they had performed on a stage shaped like Texas.

• Their last album, La Futura, was launched after 9 years. It contains some references to their older songs, such as ‘œI’m bad, I’m nationwide’ released in 1976. Reviewers believe that the band mates still sound like their old self which shows their timelessness.
