The ZZ Top is one of the bands that have stood the test of time amazingly. Even though the Beetles example is a bad enough example in case of the dissolution of a band that has as achieved extraordinary fame, ZZ Top still stands experimenting with music and bringing out what is the best in them exceptionally well. The band consists of only three members, Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. Since 1971, it has been identified with Blues music and its strong humorous motifs have made it stand the test of time and designate it as one of the unique bands. This time tested band has its own crown of glory and its own history.

ZZ Top feted muddy waters ‘œfounding father’ through remodelling what fell from his sharecropper hovel into a guitar called ‘œmuddywood’ which again was sent as a memento for fundraisers for the Clarksdale’s museum the Delta Blues.

The forty long years of existence cannot possibly go smooth for any band but be it the lesser number of members or the amazing unity among them, the members of this iconic band had held it strongly together leading them to a celebratory 40th year. In commemorating this event Billy had said that they were the same three guys who belted out the identical three cords.
