K.D Lang or Katherine Dawn Lang is a popular singer and songwriter. She was born in 1961 in Alberta, Canada in a small town named Consort. Lang’s father had a local drugstore while her mother was a second grade schoolteacher. During her growing up years, K.D Lang learnt to play classical piano and also regularly listened to her sister’s rock music collection.
