HPV or human papilloma virus is a general term given to over 100 correlated viruses. Of these 100 varieties of HPV, nearly 60 types lead to warts on the feet and hands. The further 40 HPV types are transmitted sexually through the mucous membranes in the body like the moist places around the genital and anal regions.
