Fact 1: Ecstasy is the drug that alters the mind. It has amphetamine and hallucinogenic properties. Ecstasy is otherwise called  3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA).

Fact 2: The Ecstasy drug is synthetically made from the chemical that is derived from the Sassafras tree’s essential oil. Ecstasy is classified as a schedule 1 substance like heroin, cocaine, and LSD.

Fact 3: Possession of Ecstasy might penalize the person for lifetime imprisonment. Ecstasy is known to enhance the nervous system’s functioning and enhance the mood. The drug deteriorates sexual performance.

Fact 4: An overdose of Ecstasy can lead to very high body temperatures which might result in death.

Fact 5: Steroids are synthetic forms of testosterone which enhance the performance and appearance of the body as well as build the muscles.

Fact 6: Some steroids are used for treating medical conditions like skin problems, asthma, poison ivy, and chronic lung diseases.

Fact 7: The use of steroids for cosmetic and athletic purposes is not sanctioned in United States.

Fact 8: The symptoms observed in the people taking steroids are rapid weight gain, aggressive behavior, premature baldness, fluid retention, and so on.

Fact 9: The presence of steroids in the body can be detected for few weeks after their oral administration. Steroids can be detected even for few months after their intake by injection.

Fact 10: Marijuana, or Cannabis sativa has a mind-altering constituent known as THC also called  delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol.
