Carrie Underwood was born Carrie Marie Underwood on 10^th March, 1983 in Oklahoma, USA. She spent her childhood in Checotah farm and obtained a degree in Mass Communications from the Northeastern State University in the year 2006. In fact, her time on the show that shot her to fame helped her earn the credits she needed to successfully complete her degree program.

We all know that she was the winner of American Idol in 2005, but did you know that she never underwent any formal schooling in voice training or singing! However, singing was not untouched waters; she started singing at her local church as early as three years of age.

“Some Hearts” is considered her debut album; however, her first single was released on 18^th October, 2005 in radio stations and was called “Jesus Take The Wheel”. This song got the “Single of the Year” award and her debut was certified 7x platinum, 27 months after its initial release!
