Fact 9:  Blueberries in general have high antioxidants, but those that are organically grown are known to have more of these nutrients than the cultivated varieties that are grown conventionally.  Blueberries grown the organic way have been found to have more phenol and anthocyanin antioxidants than those grown the traditional way.

Fact 10:  Regular consumption of blueberries may also provide cognitive benefits.  Latest research indicates that only 12 weeks of daily consumption of these berries have already resulted in significant improvements in cognition, including memory of test subjects.  These findings are attributed to the protection of nerve cells that are performed by the antioxidants found in blueberries.
