Fact 1 Her Childhood Days

Carrie Marie Underwood was born in 1983, on the 10th of March in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She grew up happily on a farm and enjoyed her childhood days in climbing trees and playing in the dirt like most country children. Her mother was the teacher of an elementary school and father worked in a saw mill. She had two sisters, Shanna and Stephanie. She started singing from an early age and her voice created magic among her listeners. As a child she took part in the Robbins Memorial Talent Show and also sang at the Church.

When she was still a High School girl, Carrie Underwood became a member of the Honor Society. She took part in Basketball and Softball teams of her school. In 2004, she gave a try at The American Idol contest to make sure about her singing talent. This event changed her life forever. She won the fourth season of the show in 2005 and thereafter won many Grammy Awards and other awards at Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. She tied the knot with the hockey player, Mike Fisher in 2010 and now they are the proud parents of a boy child Isaiah.

Her third studio album, ‘Play On” in 2009 rocked the world with her songs that includes “Blown Away’ ‘Good Girl” and “Two Black Cadillacs.” A new career began for her in 2013. She was chosen to perform in the Sunday Night Football theme song. Later she worked on television where she played the role of Maria of Sound of Music (1965). This program was broadcast. Stephen Moyer appear as Captain Von Trapp opposite her. This special show was nominated for four Emmy Awards. Her latest album “ Decade # 1” was released in 2014 and won the Grammy for the Best Country Solo Performance for the song “Something in the Water”. Her fifth studio album has been released in 2015 “Storyteller” that features the remarkable number “Smoke Break” and Top 5 country singles.
