The whole Versace brand was created and developed by Italian designer Gianni Versace back in 1978. Ever since the first boutique opened in Italy back then, the brand Versace has become one of the most sought-after brands in the world.

Gianni Versace was said to start his career in fashion design even before opening his own boutique bearing his own name. After Gianni Versace’s murder in 1997, his siblings took over the brand and continued to become one of the most popular and influential brands in the world. His brother, Santo Versace, was named CEO, and his sister, Donatella Versace, became the creative director for the whole Versace brand.
