What is LGBT?: The Making
On the sixth day of creation, God created man in his image. In the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. An excerpt in the bible, Genesis 1:27. I’m pretty much sure that it doesn’t include lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender or LGBT as we speak of them.

If God created man and woman, then who created them?
It’s very confusing and in fact, disturbing, that these types of people just sprouted like mushrooms and the next thing you know, they’re your roommates.

But aside from that horrifying idea, let’s try to understand what makes them ‘THEM’ and how do they differ from the man/woman category.

Checking the history about earliest documents regarding LGBT or ‘Third gender’ as a term described in the 60’s. Before that, homosexuals never gained acceptance in the community. Being called a homosexual by that time means very offensive and believed to carry a negative connotation about them. So terms changes as time passes. Homosexuals became homophiles in the 50’s, and eventually became gay and lesbians in mid 70’s. Gays and lesbians have been fighting for their equal rights since the 70’s and early 80’s. While those bisexual and transgender people never went out in their shell and just able to compress themselves rather than bursting out. Transgender people are just acting out stereotypes while bisexuals are simply gay men or lesbian women that aren’t that honest with their identity. And even though you can see them now in streets, party with them, meet them at work or any occasions, there are still conflicts and problems how to align themselves to the other gender.

It’s hard to tell whether a person is straight of not. But how do this circumstances change a person from being straight into something different, you know what I mean.

One of the most contributing factor that turn straights into ‘not straight’ is the environment. If you’re living in a place like you’re the only guy and all of them are girls or gays, the only thing that comes into your mind is that it is fated to happen. You can’t beat them and it will leave you with one option’¦ join them.

Another thing is during pregnancy. Scientist says that these circumstances happen during birth. Some says it’s a body with the opposite sex’s soul. There are tons of possibilities and you can’t even predict it.

The perfect example for this tragic transformation is Rustom Padilla aka ‘the fabulous Bebe Gandanghari’.
One day he’s a hunk, the other day, she’s a horse. I’m sorry about that but that’s the lingua and it has been the general term. There’s a lot of cases like that and they’re left untold. Same thing happens to girls who became lesbians. I can name a few, but I’ll just leave it confidential.

But the question is’¦ Is there a potion that turns this spell around?

Sadly, Scientists haven’t formulated some of those potions yet. But if you managed to make on of those, then you can teach me how to turn orange into gold coins.

Sexual classifications doesn’t matter that much. As long as you’re honest with yourself, and by the end of the day, you can walk out there with your head up straight.
