What is Jungle Juice?
Jungle Juice refers to a drink mixture using several hard alcohol and fruit juices. The term is part of urban lingo referring to hard drinks mixed with a variety of fruit juices, Kool Aid, and even fruit bits. The fruit juice or bits are added to hard liquor for the purpose of extending the quantity of the alcohol. Popular varieties of Jungle Juice involve mixing Everclear or vodka with orange juice or pineapple juice. Some people use rum, whiskey, tequila, gin, or any other hard drink and mix them with any preferred fruit juices like apple and grape juice.

“Hunch Punch” is another term for Jungle Juice that is made by using Kool-Aid. Those that use gin as the main hard liquor in the mix usually use buckets and so they call their version of Jungle Juice as a “gin bucket”. Some people also refer to this drink mix as “wop” or “spodie”.

Actual fruit bits and slices may be added to the Jungle Juice mixture. Most people prefer having the fruit bits soaked in the alcohol mix for several hours before serving. In this way, a good amount of alcohol is absorbed by the fruit bits resulting to elevated levels of fun and intoxication. Many also claim that the drink mix will result in typical “animalistic behavior” or severe drunkenness. This is why this particular drink mix is called “Jungle Juice”.

Jungle Juice has become widely popular especially among the youth. This is because this drink mix is way cheaper than drinking only pure hard liquor. In this case, the sometimes expensive hard liquor is mixed with fruit bits and juices to stretch the alcoholic drink quantity. Jungle Juice also has basically the same effects as most hard liquors and so many people are fans of this drink mix. Not to mention that it offers a variety of pleasant flavors depending on the liquor and fruit juice used in the mix.
