Disney Infinity is a popular video game developed by Disney Interactive Studios.  This game has been a hit to Disney fans because it features a collection of characters from past Disney and Pixar films including Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Mike and Sully from Monsters, and Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles.  Through Disney Infinity, gamers can mix and match their favorite characters and have a wonderful interactive gaming fun and adventure.

The Disney Infinity video game starter pack is composed of a 3-character figurine set.  These action figures will be used to add interactivity to the video game.  Whatever character is placed on the Infinity Base, it will be loaded by the gaming console onto the game platform.  With Disney Infinity, various versions are developed to work for different gaming platforms like Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console, Sony’s Playstation 2, and Nintendo’s 3DS and Wii among many others.  With this cross-platform capability, Disney fans can play the Infinity video game on the gaming platform that they own and prefer.

Playing Disney Infinity can be made through different gaming modes.  The Play set mode is a preset gaming version based on original and existing Disney animated stories like Monsters University, The Incredibles, and Toy Story. Each of these versions has their own storylines with different tasks for gamers.  If gamers want to use the Toy Story version, the appropriate character or action figure must be used and placed on the Infinity Play Set.  For those who wish to use different characters and combine them together in one game, the Toy Box Mode may be chosen.  In this mode, characters from Monsters University like Sully may be used to play and interact with Violet of The Incredibles.  This mode also supports online multiplayer functions which is good for interactivity.

Aside from the action figures of different characters and the Infinity Base, so-called Power Discs are also part of the interactive video game.  These discs may be used to add various elements to the different characters in the game.  Enhancements may be made on the character themselves or on background and weapons for battle.
