What is a JCB card?
A JCB card is a credit card issued by the Japan Credit Bureau. It is the leading credit card in Japan mainly due to the superior service offered by the JCB company. To date, JCB cards are accepted and honored in 190 countries around the world. With almost 60 million cardmembers worldwide, annual goods and services purchased reached almost 63 billion US dollars.

The JCB Corporate Card is their main product or credit card. This particular card features a high or generous credit line to its members. It also offers 0.5% cash rebates for any purchase. Plus there’s a bonus point system wherein every 200 USD – purchase entitles the cardholder to earn one point, which is equal to 1 dollar in cash value. The annual fee is also waived on the first year, and may be waived perpetually for those who use their card to make 10,000 USD purchases in a year.

JCB Corporate Cards also provide its cardmembers with comprehensive and detailed billing statements. Companies also have the option to have the billing centralized or individualized. Travel Assistance is also offered for domestic and international travelers. And if the JCB card is used in booking airline tickets, cardmembers will have USD 500,000 in air/common carrier insurance coverage, and USD 2,000 coverage for lost luggage.

For the Japanese market, one can also avail of the Mitsuwa JCB Card. This is a credit card customized for Mitsuwa Marketplace shoppers. With this card, one can enjoy various discounts on Mitsuwa stores. As with other JCB cards, members will also get rebates on all purchases. There is no annual fee for this type of card and one can have a family member use the account without any charges. JCB also has co-branded cards with Marukai stores in California and Hawaii, offering discounts and rebate programs for valued shoppers.

JCB today has a network of 12.32 million merchants and 59.78 million cardmembers.
