Jurassic Park is one of the most outstanding adventure films directed by Steven Spielberg that was released in 1993. There is hardly a child or an adult who has not viewed this film and the later sequels.

Prehistoric mosquitoes have been preserved, and scientists are experimenting with extracting dinosaur DNA from the mosquitoes’ thoraxes. The scientists use the DNA to clone dinosaurs for a theme park. Isla Nublar is an islet located off the Pacific Coast of Central America near Costa Rica. Here, a philanthropist billionaire named John Hammond and a team of genetic scientists create a wildlife park where cloned dinosaurs roam. The film Jurassic Park is based on this novel’s story, the thoughts behind the experiment, and the subsequent consequences of cloning the dinosaurs.

It was a time when the entire world was highly interested in various gadgets, mainly the computer and its different uses. Author Michael Crichton and David Koepp wrote the screenplay. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg, is a landmark in the history of computer science and its development. The imagery and the visual effects are sure to surpass the imaginations of any viewers. The original film was followed by three more sequels, namely The Lost World: Jurassic Park in 1997, Jurassic Park III in 2001, and Jurassic World in 2015. Allan Grant, a famous philanthropist, and other scientists are invited to the theme park after it is created by John Hammond. He wants to share his ideas and thoughts with eminent scientists and show the world that such things are possible. The visitors were amazed at his creation. However, when the lack of proper security allows the cloned dinosaurs to escape and attack the visitors, the visit soon becomes disastrous. In the end, only four men escape the island in a helicopter.

The location of the film is exclusive. The visual effects and unbelievable animation of the models are so life-like. It is hard to believe that the dinosaurs are not real but simply the work of computer graphics. The outstanding effects also reveal the intensive research work done for the making of the film.

The film Jurassic Park is out to show us that man is always in search of something new and unique. Everyone is interested in automating their lives and executing all their work with the help of computers. It also reveals a major breakthrough in the biological field. Dinosaurs can be made to walk again. But another important aspect of such creation comes to light with the escape of the dinosaurs. Although there have been great advancements in the scientific world, the nature and behavior of the newly created clones cannot be predicted. Because of that, many people are killed on the island. Another alarming fact that couldn’t be predicted was the ability of the creatures to reproduce, even outside the theme park. Their strength is unmatched by human capabilities, and, thus, a sense of danger prevails at the end of the film.

Nevertheless, enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the fifth release and hope to enjoy the film the same way they appreciated the first film Jurassic Park.
