Everyone knows that a yacht club is a sports club specifically related to yachting.  There are 1286 yacht clubs in the United States of America.  It is widely known the fact that all the yacht clubs are mostly located by the sea.  Anyway, there are some that have been established at a lake or riverside locations.  It is important to know that yacht or sailing clubs have either a marina or a delimited section of the beach or shoreline.  There are obviously  buoys marking the areas off-limits for swimmers as well as safe offshore anchorages.
