How many wheelchair users are there in US?

There are approximately 3 million wheelchair users in the USA.  In Europe, there are more wheelchair users (approximately 5 million).  When it comes to the United States of America, almost 1 in every 100 people is in wheelchairs. Most people use manual devices (more than 50%).  The rest of them use electric wheelchairs.  This is definitely a dangerous trend.  Wheelchair ramps are extremely popular these days.  You can easily find them almost everywhere.  Moreover, 10 million people use walking aids, such as a cane or walker.
