How many unaffiliated voters are there?

30% of the American voters

It is important to know that an independent voter is also called an unaffiliated voter in the United States.  This person is a voter of a democratic country who does not align him- or herself with a political party.  30% of the American voters consider themselves unaffiliated voters.  It is interesting to know that several analyses conclude that the number of independent voters in the United States of America has remained relatively unchanged since the 1950s.
