How many rivers are there in Russia?
It is important to know that Russia can be divided into a European and an Asian part. Russia has approximately 100000 rivers. Not too many people know that Russia contains some of the world’s longest rivers. Keep in mind that some of the country’s five longest rivers are represented by the Ob-Irtysh, Amur, Lena, and Yenisey. All these rivers are in Siberia. Moreover, the Yenisey river cuts northward across the vast region of Siberia, in central Russia. It is interesting to know that most of the rivers flow northward into the Arctic Ocean.
