Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter,sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer who spent most of his adult life in France.  He is famous for developing the cubism current in art.  There are 13500 paintings signed by Picasso.  Needless to say, during his 75 year career he also produced 100,000 graphic prints or engravings, 34,000 book illustrations and 300 sculptures and ceramics.  It is important to know that Picasso, Henri Matisse and Marcel Duchamp the three artists who defined the revolutionary developments in the plastic arts in the opening decades of the 20th century.
