How many ounces are there in a pint?

It is interesting to know the fact that pint is an imperial and U.S. customary volume unit.  There is one type of pint in imperial system and 2 types (liquid and dry) in the United States customary system.  There are 16 ounces in a pint.  It is widely used in daily life, such as measuring beer, milk. The abbreviation for pint is “pt”.  It is extremely interesting to know the fact that 1 Pint [UK] = 20 Ounces.  The main idea is that fluid ounces are volume units and should not be mistaken with ounces which are mass.
