How many orchestral instruments are there?

Everyone knows that an orchestra is a large instrumental ensemble that contains sections of string, brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments.  It is interesting to know that the typical symphony orchestra consists of four groups of similar musical instruments called the woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings.  It is interesting to know that other instruments such as the piano and celesta may be grouped into a fifth section such as a keyboard section.  They may stand alone, like the concert harp and electric and electronic instruments.
