How many near Earth asteroids are there?

It is widely known the fact that the near Earth asteroids are objects in a near-Earth orbit without the tail or coma of a comet.  Keep in mind that there are 9991 near-Earth asteroids.  Keep in mind that they range in size from 1 meter up to 32 kilometers.  Needless to say, the number of near-Earth asteroids over one kilometer in diameter is estimated to be about 981.  It is interesting to know that the near Earth asteroids can be eventually eliminated by planetary perturbations.  They may cause ejection from the Solar System or a collision with the Sun or a planet.
