How many NADH are there in Glycolysis?

2

Not too many people know that the term Glycolysis comes from glycose, an older term for glucose and lysis, that means degradation).  The main idea is that Glycolysis is the process in which glucose is broken down and used to create pyruvate molecules, which represent a type of sugar.  In fact, this is the first stage of the cellular respiration process.  During this important process of creating pyruvate, NADH molecules are manufactured.  There are 2 NADH in the process of Glycolysis.  It takes place within the cell cytoplasm. From this moment, NADH molecules travel to the mitochondria cell structures.  The next stage of the cellular respiration process begins.
