There are more and more motorcycle deaths per year all over the world.  When it comes to the United States of America, statistics do not look too good.  For example, in 2011 there were 4612 motorcycle deaths.  In 2010 there were 4502, in 2009 there were 4462, in 2008 there were 5312, in 2007 there were 5174 deaths, in 2006 there were 4837 deaths, in 2005 there were 4576 motorcycle deaths.  Believe it or not, in nine years motorcycle deaths more than doubled.  On the contrary, the lowest number of motorcycle deaths was registered in 1997.
