How many jobs have been lost in 2009?

Calculations based on unemployment statistics from The Global Employment Trends, published by the International Labour Office (ILO) in January 2010, have led to the amount of 26.6 million jobs lost in 2009. In 2008, 184.9 million people in the world were unemployed; one year later, this number rose up to 211.5 million.
