How many IPv6 addresses are there?

340,282,366,920,938,463,463,374,607,431,768,211,456.

The latest version of the Internet Protocol ‘“ Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) ‘“ was established in 1998 with a view to supplanting IPv4. Whereas IPv4 uses 32-bit addresses, IPv6 uses 128-bit addresses, which dramatically broadens the range of address availability: from 232 (about 4 billion)to 2128 addresses (or 3.4 x 1038). The adoption of IPv6, however, is still at an early stage: less than 5% of internet connections.
