How many illegal immigrants are there in Texas?

Immigration represents a real problem these days.  Can you imagine that more than 1 million undocumented immigrants live in Texas?  These are the statistics provided by the Migration Policy Institute.   This is definitely a dangerous trend.  Why are there so many immigrants?  One of the cases is represented by the proximity to Mexico.  It is interesting to know that Texas is second only to California when it comes to the number of undocumented immigrants who live in the state.  The perspectives do not look too good.
