How many hydrogen bonds are there between base pairs?
Not more than 3 Hydrogen bonds
In a DNA strand, there are two base pairs consisting of Guanine, Cytosine, Adenine and Thymine. There are three hydrogen bonds for the base pair Guanine and Cytosine, and two hydrogen bonds for the base pair Adenine and Thymine. In RNA, Adenine pairs off with Uracil with two hydrogen bonds.
