How many glasses of beer can a standard keg yield?

165 glasses

The commonly known keg is actually a half-barrel that holds 15.5 gallons of beer. If 12 ounce glasses were used, then we would have 165 glasses of beer for everyone’s enjoyment. Aside from the standard half-barrel, there were also the pony keg or quarter-barrel, the sixth-barrel, and the corny keg. The pony keg yields 82 glasses, the sixth-barrel gives us 55 glasses, and the corny keg yields 53 glasses of beer.
