How many females are there in the world?

1.01 males to 1 female

The world population is estimated to number 7.123 billion.  It is important to know that the global sex ratio is approximately 1.01 males to 1 female.  It is interesting to know that approximately 26.3% of the global population is aged under 15, while 65.9% is aged 15–64 and 7.9% is aged 65 or over.  China has the largest population on the Globe – 1,360,930,000 persons, followed by India, United States of America, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Russia and Japan.  Believe it or not, approximately 4.144 billion people live in these ten countries.
