There are 12 Federal Reserve Banks in the United States. These banks are found in major US cities, namely Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Dallas, and San Francisco. These banks act as agents of the  Federal Reserve System in the regions that they operate in.
