How many expats are there in Singapore?

More than 2 millions expats

There are more than 2 millions expats in Singapore.  Statistics show that 40% of the total population is represented by foreign persons.  It is interesting to know that by 2012, there was a total population of 5,312,400 in Singapore.  Not too many people know that Singapore’s population could rise by up to 30% by 2030, with foreigners making up the bulk of the increase.  Specialists consider that Singapore could hit 6.9 million in just 17 years’ time.  This is definitely something.
