Not too many people know that a DNA Polymerase is a cellular or viral polymerase enzyme that synthesizes DNA molecules from their nucleotide building blocks. It is important to know that Eukaryotes have at least 15 DNA Polymerases: Pol ?, Pol ?, Pol ?, Pol ?, Pol ?. Needless to say, scientists consider that there are also other eukaryotic polymerases known, which are not as well characterized: ?, ?, ?, ?, and ?. Not too many people know that none of the eukaryotic polymerases can remove primers.
