How many eggs are there in each follicle?
1 egg per follicle.
In human females each ovarian follicle contains one oocyte or egg. The ovarian follicle is the main functional unit of the ovaries. It is made up of a single oocyte, layers of surrounding cells called granulosa cells, and an outermost rim of theca cells. In rare cases, especially with hormone stimulation, a follicle may contain as much as 2 or 3 oocytes.
