From 1912 to 2009, more than 2 million Boy Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. This is according to the U.S. National Eagle Scout Association. Each year about 50,000 or 5% of Boy Scouts earn the Eagle Scout rank. Notable Eagle Scouts include Michael Bloomberg, Jack Zimmerman and Donald Rumsfield.
