How many DNA replications occur in mitosis and meiosis?

0.

Strictly speaking, no DNA replication occurs in both mitosis and meiosis. In mitosis, the replication and synthesis of new DNA occurs during the S phase of interphase, which is prior to mitosis. During meiosis, the cell replicates its DNA once during the S phase of the cell cycle prior to meiosis. Thus at the onset of both processes, the already carries duplicated DNA in its nucleus.
