How many deaths were there in WW1?

Over 16 million

It is interesting to know that the total number of military and civilian casualties in World War I was over 37 million.  Keep in mind that there were over 16 million deaths and 20 million wounded.  The World War I is considered to be one of the deadliest conflicts in human history.  It is interesting to know the fact that the total number of deaths includes about 10 million military personnel and about 7 million civilians.  Keep in mind that at least 2 million people died from diseases.
