How many Cuban immigrants are there?

0.63% of the U.S. population

There are so many Cuban immigrants in the United States.  Imagine that there are 1,957,557 Cubans in the U.S (approximately 0.63% of the U.S population).   Not too many people know that the Cuban American is a United States citizen who traces his or her national origin to Cuba.  Cuban immigrants generally live in  Miami, Tampa Bay Area, Northern New Jersey, New York.   Needless to say, there are also growing populations in California,Texas, North Carolina and Georgia.  Keep in mind that the early migration started in 1778.
